In addition to the whole “throwing poop” thing, the premise of Rise of the Planet of the Apes has at least one obvious flaw: if Caesar is smart enough to conquer the world, wouldn’t he be smart enough to realize it was a mug’s game? World domination has its charms, but how many years of history must we have before we realize a harem, a big TV, and all you can eat shrimp is probably more fun?
