Dear Editors,

We feel that Presidents’ Day represents intolerable historical revisionism, allowing certain figures in our nation’s history to be elevated far beyond their actual significance at the expense of other equally important but less celebrated individuals. If there must be such a holiday, we urge that other days be set aside to remember everyone else.
